BizTalk Server 2006 Beta 2 is Available Now!!!!

Sign up today as part of the BizTalk Beta Team and help test BizTalk Server 2006 Beta 2. As a tester, you will be asked to install, test, and report bugs on BizTalk Server 2006 Beta 2.

• Go to Microsoft Beta Place (https://beta.microsoft.com) and log in with your Microsoft Passport network account.

• In the menu bar, click Sign in as Guest, and type the following Guest ID: BizTalkBetaTeam

• Click OK.

• Under Program Info, click Survey, and complete the BizTalk Server 2006 Open Beta Nomination Form.

• Complete and submit the survey form.


Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Microsoft welcoming you to the BizTalk Server 2006 Beta Program. This letter will contain additional information on how to download the Beta 2 and access the BizTalk Server 2006 newsgroup.

SQLPass anounces SQL Server 2005 Beta Exams

Beta Exam 71-443: PRO: Designing a Database Server Infrastructure by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

OR

Beta Exam 71-444: PRO: Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administration Solution by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005

As an early adopter or someone who has expressed interest in Microsoft Certifications, you are invited to take the Beta (pre-release) version of one of the Exams listed above and provide feedback. The Beta exam is FREE for you, and it will count towards certification in the same way as the final version of the exam.

Microsoft® is launching a New Generation of Certification. There are two series of credentials for SQL Server 2005 Professionals: Microsoft® Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft® Certified IT Professional (MCITP). The MCTS credential highlights your ability to work on SQL Server 2005 technologies. The MCITP credential highlights your job role, featuring your specific area of expertise and allowing you to distinguish yourself as an expert in Database Development, Database Administration, or Business Intelligence Development.

Exam 70-443 is one of the two exams required for the "Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator" credential. The other exam required for you to complete the "MCITP: Database Administrator" credential is "70-444: PRO: Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administration Solution by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005." Before achieving the MCITP credential you will also have to achieve "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SQL Server 2005" credential. You can achieve the "MCTS: SQL Server 2005" credential by taking the exam "70-431: TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Implementation and Maintenance."
